		The Deauville is a fine place for those who want more economical lodgings in the heart of Havana. A Deco-looking highrise building with truly basic accomodations, it is right across the street from the sea, and affords magnificent views of Havana's skyline and the city's fortifications. The Deauville is within walking distance of the old city and modern Havana. It also provides easy access to the beaches just to the east of the city.Interestingly, many important 1950’s cultural and political figures frequented this seaside hotel.
